Fee for full day of travel to fly your kitten $400-$500 (depending on one way flight time - 2.5 hours from DFW $400 and more than 2.5 hour flight is $500) you also pay for round trip airfare and in cabin kitten ticket $150

CONTRACT INFO AND HOW $ IS PAID

Our contract is to be signed ONLY when you select your forever kitten - no contract is required when you place your $500 reservation deposit. You can and SHOULD read the entire contract on this webpage before placing a reservation deposit. If you don't like my contract (that I have painstakingly created over the past 27 years) then I am NOT the breeder for you. If you don't want to wait. Then I am not your breeder. If you want to call me three times a week to talk about why the cat you like is not pregnant yet, I am not your breeder. I can recommend an entire list of qualified breeders who may have a contract that you prefer. Once you are offered a kitten to reserve and you select the perfect kitten, only THEN will you be asked to sign a Specific Kitten Contract.
After you select your kitten and sign your contract, the deposit you paid (if you paid one) $500 will be deducted from the total purchase price and on the day you sign the Specific Kitten Contract. So, if your kitten is $4500 and you have paid a $500 deposit, previously, then when you sign your contract, your balance will be $4000. You will pay $2000 when you sign your contract and $2000 when your kitten turns 8 weeks old.
If you don't want to pay half the purchase price when you select your forever kitten and sign your specific kitten contract, then I am not the breeder for you and I will politely explain to you that my contract has been published on my website for a decade and if you didn't like the terms, you should not have placed a reservation deposit with me.
I am an attorney. I am reliable. I have your kitten. I have a 27 year track record of placing kittens in forever homes. I require 1/2 kitten price when you select your kitten because I will not market that kitten. It is your kitten and if you change your mind, you will lose the money you deposited with me because I lost the opportunity to market that kitten.
Do your due diligence BEFORE you place a deposit. Money you give to me is non refundable. If you get tired of waiting or find a kitten elsewhere, do not ask me for a refund. I breed and plan my breedings based upon your deposit for a future kitten. I do NOT sit on your deposit - I spend it on these cats to create your kitten.
I am a business person and a lawyer. I like my contract. It protects you through an extensive guarantee, and it protects me. I'm not negotiating revisions to my contract because you want special terms.

BREEDING RIGHTS AND FEES

Breeding Rights. WE DO NOT OFFER STUD SERVICE. I DON'T KNOW OF ANY BREEDER WHO DOES.

From time to time we offer kittens out of our giant, gorgeous cats, with full breeding rights to select, well qualified individuals who own their own home and who are pleasant. We only offer our kittens to NEW BREEDERS. If you are already a breeder, we will not work with you as we have no information on the quality of your cats. With new potential breeders, please understand that I do not have any desire to work with people who are obsessive, overcome with anxiety, anger, rage, depression, compulsive, needy, addicts, or people who do not understand that this is real work and will require them to NOT go to work when the cat is about to have kittens and for 3 days after the litter is born. I also do not have strong political views, so if you are extreme in your political views or any other views, and need to share those viewpoints with me, we won't work out. BUT... If you are a normal, happy, moderate, well adjusted member of society who is interested in breeding cats as a passionate small business, I am happy to speak with you about it.

If you are approved for purchase of a kitten with Breeding rights, locked price is $8500 with one pick of the litter kitten back - We almost always have QUALITY females available for NEW BREEDERS and you get priority for selection of pick of the litter males from future litters. We usually have jr. males (teen males) available, as well, so your wait to your first litter will not be as long.
The NEW High Smoke and High Silvers breeding program, polydactyls and permanent blue eyed program cats are separate. If you want a breeder from these specialty programs, the dollar amount is the same, $8500, but I get 2 kittens back. If interested, ask to see my Affiliated Breeder Agreement Contract.

You can certainly find cheaper kittens. If you want to purchase a kitten with a 27 year track record of HUGE healthy cats with the best guarantee in the business, then you want an Atty Kats kitten. I stand behind my kittens.

Most Reputable US breeders of European Maine Coons are charging between $3,500 and $7500 now for pet kittens. I am paying $8500 - $11,500 for European Maine Coons that I am importing using couriers ($2500 or more for courier and travel costs) from my selected top European breeders. At AttyKats, I do not hesitate to pay the highest prices for the highest quality so you don't have to take that risk. My pricing as a TOP US BREEDER is about in the middle of the pack for the 8 top breeders. I can provide you with the chart to show where my pricing falls with the other well established top US breeders.

GUARDIAN HOMES AND CO BREEDERS

From time to time we may be able to offer kittens available from MY CATS who are being bred and/or raised by my co breeders or in guardian homes under my strict and direct supervision. These are a handful of carefully vetted individuals who purchase MY CATS and are closely monitored and mentored by ME. These friends spend all of their time with only one litter of kittens in their homes and I pick up the kittens at 8 weeks old and then I evaluate and raise them to 12 weeks. If I offer these kittens through AttyKats, it is because they are exceptional, like all of the cats from my breeding, and I assume ALL responsibility for these kittens who are out of my AttyKats cats; they are fully socialized, fully vetted, and fully guaranteed by me. This is another way that I am able to provide quality kittens in such high demand from my HUGE and HEALTHY lines while making sure that each kitten gets the individual attention it deserves! My young adult children, Haley, Jack, and Cooper, Lillian and Tripp, ALL assist me with kitten rearing. We have several houses in the same neighborhood and together we raise these wonderful kittens in our homes from our Family to your Family!

NOT A FACEBOOK USER. UPDATES ON THIS WEBSITE WHEN KITTENS ARE 6-8 WEEKS OLD. I am rarely on FACEBOOK. I do have a Facebook page that my daughter set up for me (fb.me/attykats) but I rarely use it. I don't have time to respond to all of the comments. I love them, but I am practicing law full time and raising lots of great kids and kittens. I don't personally use Facebook. As a trial lawyer, in adversarial situations daily, I protect my privacy and my family's privacy. My life is also crazy busy with full time work, family and kids, cats and kittens, kids' sports, church and our operating ranch (horses, cows, goats!). I spend my evenings brushing cats, playing with kittens, and cleaning countless litter boxes and fussing at my 16 year old twins to do their homework and clean their rooms.
Litter notifications will be posted on THIS website. My daughter posts photos for me on Facebook or Instagram from time to time, but THIS WEBSITE is where you look for updates or TEXT ME 813 857 5600. Please do not email and text me asking me to post "more updates" on Facebook or Instagram. Know, in advance, that that is not what I do. I breed stunningly beautiful cats, in my opinion, the most beautiful cats in the World- but I do not regularly post on social media.
If you want (or NEED) daily or weekly updates on Facebook, I'm not the breeder for you. I can recommend several breeders who are wonderful at Facebook and post photos and interact with people almost daily. I may post photos of kittens on this website, or I may just send photos of available kittens to the next person in line. IF I post photos on this website, I will generally not do so until they are 6 to 8 weeks old. Once that litter is matched and all kittens reserved, I generally take those kitten photos off the website because I have 10-12 litters a year (sometimes more) and I can't keep 100's of kittens photos for each year (for 27 years) on the website. It makes this website too big.

PICK UP LOCATION/ COURIER SERVICE, Dallas Airports - DFW or DAL. We currently have three houses (our adult kids live on the same street) on Lake Texoma in Oklahoma (1.8 hours north of Dallas); our permanent residence has always been in the Tampa, FL area. We recently sold our Tampa house and now have a house in Homosassa, Florida, north of Tampa. I will meet you at DFW airport. Most people get a cheap flight on Spirit or American to DFW and fly in and out on the same day, arrive around 9AM and flying home around 2PM and I meet them at the airport around noon. My 26 year old son, Jack, has recently retired from 6 years of service in the Marines and is going to college on the GI Bill. He was raised with a house full of Maine Coons and has personally couriered kittens for AttyKats all over the US before and after his Service. In Florida, my 25 year old son, Cooper, will drive your kitten to you anywhere in the State of Florida for $ 2 per loaded mile, so if you are 100 miles from my Homosassa house, one way, courier fee for delivery is $200 to your doorstep.

If you want us to fly your kitten to you, WE coordinate the flight with you. You agree to the flight and pricing, send the money to me, and I book the ticked and send you confirmation. On the day prior to travel, you pay for the kitten flight ticket ($150 to airline) and you pay the courier fee of $400-$500 (depending on flight distance from DFW) cash at the airport for the 12 plus hour day of flying round trip and driving from Oklahoma to the airport. We must be able to get to your location and home in the same day on non stop flights both ways leaving Dallas no earlier than 10AM. This is a great option for people who prefer not to spend a full day sitting on an airplane.

If you are driving, we will not be inviting people into our home. We will meet you at a convenient location PetCo in Sherman, TX. I still work full time in the Tampa area and I am in Tampa about 15 dfays a month. I often fly to Tampa. I am happy to deliver kittens to Tampa if you pay the $150 kitty ticket fee charged by the airlines when we fly. No courier fee to Tampa if you coordinate with my regular scheduled trip.

For kitten selection, we are happy to FACETIME, or ZOOM, or GOOGLE DUO with you to show you our cats and kittens. All kittens are reserved through our Deposit Reservation List by DATE of deposit. All kittens guaranteed against death by genetic defects for two (2) years. We will replace your kitten. See Sample Contract for Terms and Conditions on this website.

NON REFUNDABLE- DEFINED. I'm so sorry I have to clarify this in great detail, but based upon my experience, this needs to be super, super clear- here goes: I will not refund your deposit because you waited three months or a year, and thought that you would have a kitten by now; or because you have waited "long enough;" or because you found a better price, better breeder, or went to Europe or elsewhere; or, because you decided you wanted a puppy; or because you are moving, getting a divorce, getting married, in a new relationship, or because you "just found out" you are allergic to cats; or because I have "terrible customer service" because I don't respond to your texts/emails immediately (I literally get dozens of texts and emails a day about kittens - but I work full time as a lawyer and cannot respond to kitty inquiries or updates until the weekends- if I miss a text or email and you don't hear back on the following weekend - CALL me); I have heard all of these reasons why people have changed their minds - but the deposit really is non refundable (that means that I keep it even if you change your mind or get tired of waiting). I spend your reservation deposit on every genetic test I can find (even the new ones for stuff no one has heard of) for every adult cat, I spend it on new catios and stud houses for my boys, both reasonable and outrageous vet bills, professional groomers, Bravecto, fabulous toys, cat trees, and international travel and imports of new European cats to diversify my bloodlines. I spend your reservation deposit (immediately) on AttyKats' cats to keep them healthy and happy so they will make YOUR kitten the very best possible kitten! By agreeing to place a non refundable deposit, you also agree that I can immediately apply that deposit to AttyKats care, maintenance, and growth.

EXCEPTIONS. If you choose to place a non refundable deposit, I WILL refund your deposit if the kitten you reserve has an accident, injury, illness, or dies, or I choose to keep him/her before delivery to you and he or she therefore becomes unavailable (this has never happened, but is possible). Note, as the Breeder, I always have the discretion to keep any kitten and to deny to sell a kitten for any reason, including, for example, if I learn you are a breeder. If you ARE a breeder and you do not disclose that to me - you forfeit your deposit and any amount paid towards purchase price! I am placing my kittens in PET HOMES ONLY unless you sign the Affiliated Breeder Contract and I agree to that. I also have the discretion to replace your kitten that you reserved with a comparable kitten in the event your kitten has an illness or injury and cannot go home with you.

RESPONDING TO YOU. BE PATIENT PLEASE. HERE'S WHY. I have been doing this 27 years (see my CFA certificate for proof). I am a mother of six, two high school kids, 16 year old twins, are still home and are super active athletes; I am a trial lawyer and work full time; I have many cats and kittens who need and get daily love, cleaning, and grooming, and we have an operating ranch, complete with 17 horses, 40 Scottish Highland cows, and 28 goats. We are very busy. Notwithstanding that, cats and kittens are my passion and my priority. I plan to do this for at least another 20 years. I am not going anywhere. But I am not sitting around staring at my phone or computer all day trying to come up with clever social media posts.

But I have THE BEST CATS! I will NOT respond to you immediately. I try to respond to emails and texts on Saturdays. If a few days go by and you don't hear from me, send me a text and follow up! 813 857 5600. This is my cell phone and the only number that receives texts.

On average, I get about 3 kitten reservation deposits, a month, which is 36 reservations a year. I have about 8 or more litters a year, which is about 40 kittens a year, so under ordinary circumstances (pre COVID) we do a pretty good job of keeping kitten supply to match kitten demand. I have not once in 27 years had a kitten that was not reserved by 12 weeks old. If you see an available kitten and you like it, reserve it or someone else will. We get behind on our list when we have too many of one gender or small litters, of only one or two kittens. This DOES happen. I may have 20 people in a week reach out to me via text or email for "updates." Because so many kitten people reach out to me, daily, I try to respond to all inquiries about kittens from each week on the following weekend. If I miss an email or text, please follow up with me. Call me. I ANSWER MY PHONE.

I do not have employees, or a staff, or a customer service department, just me and my (BIG) family, working hard for you to keep these cats and kittens happy and healthy. I trust no one with my cats except my vets and my family. I have a standing appointment at my vet every Wednesday. My cats and kittens are remarkably well cared for, but that takes TIME and LOTS of money. So, you will need to be patient, even with your email and text update inquiries. How Big Will My Kitten Get?

We get this question, "How big will my kitten get?" almost daily. Just like you do not know how tall your toddler will grow, I do not know how big each kitten will be as an adult. We do know that a good indicator of how big a kitten will get is the size of the sire and the size of previous kittens from the same breeding. Our cats have kittens that generally grow into big cats. We do not guarantee size, but your best shot for getting a kitten that will grow into a big cat is starting out with big parents. We breed for type, disposition, and good health- and we knock it out of the park in those departments!

HOW TO AVOID FRAUD IN KITTEN SHOPPING AND PURCHASING!!!

HOW TO AVOID FRAUD- READ THIS

I have a few tips to help you avoid FRAUD, no matter where you are shopping for your kitten. I am a trial lawyer. I know a few things about avoiding FRAUD. If you are shopping at several sites looking for the perfect kitten, you can AVOID FRAUD by taking a few very simple precautions.

(1) Call on the phone (not just text and email or WHATSAPP and Messenger) ACTUALLY SPEAK to the Breeder and ask the Breeder if he or she will schedule a time to FaceTime with you. If they say they don't know how to do that, ask about Zoom or Google Duo, or whether you can come visit. You need to make sure the breeder is real and has the real kitten you selected. Ask the Breeder for their CFA Cattery Name Certificate and Check the Date on it. How long has she/he been breeding? Ask about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter accounts. Look for comments and references on Facebook.

(2) ask for a photo of the Breeder (not just her ARM in a photo) and ask for a photo of the Breeder holding the actual Kitten you want. If the Breeder can't do this, or tells you it will be a few days because her phone is broken or her camera is broken or some other such nonsense...assume that the Breeder and kittens are not in the same location together --- which is a RED FLAG!

(3) ask for a video of the kitten and ask the Breeder to say your name in the video and tell you about the positive attributes of the kitten; If the voice on the video is not the voice on the phone, the actual breeder you spoke with, again, assume the breeder and kittens are not in the same place and someone else (unknown third party) is raising kittens. RED FLAG!

(4) look for positive reviews on Facebook of people who have purchased prior kittens from this Breeder. It is hard to make everyone happy all the time, but there should be mostly positive reviews about the breeder and the buying experience.

(5) with COVID, visiting kittens in home is no longer probable - but where your breeder lives should not be a secret. I can provide you my address and you can look it up in the public records. I am a real person with a real address and a real 27 year history of selling kittens.

FAKE BREEDERS - will have a new website created in 2025-2026; no home city, state or address on the website; no personal photos or information on family; no photos of prior litters; no photos of parents of kittens or photos of the litter of kittens from birth forward...no references or fake reference --- Fake Breeders have their kittens priced unrealistically low ($400-$600) and tell you shipping is $100, or something similarly impossible. Sadly most FAKE websites are from foreigners, so look for GRAMMAR errors the "bad guys" do not understand our pronouns (he, she, we, etc.).

Ask for special photos (Ask them to write your name on a piece of paper and put it by the kitten and take a photo, or to Facetime or for a video made just for you - if they can't do it ...RUN!)

I cannot tell you how many people call me after they have lost thousands of dollars to fake breeders both in the USA and abroad. There are excellent breeders in the USA and in Europe, but you need to take the time to go through the steps above to confirm your breeder is reputable and your kitten is REAL. If you are buying from Europe, you have NO recourse if they take your money and do not send you a kitten. You cannot fly to Russia and sue to get your money back! Your money is just gone. So many people have that experience.

Be safe out there! Do not fall in love with a photo and forget to make sure the person who has the photo actually has THAT KITTEN and is a reputable breeder. Call the breeder. Ask questions. Facetime. Don't be a fraud statistic because you fell in love with a photo. I have a dozen horror stories on these issues....don't be one of them! Be careful out there!!!

How to RESERVE future kittens!

DEPOSIT RESERVATION LIST IS NOW OPEN FOR 2026.

We have LOTS of kittens throughout the year. Our kittens are reserved through a DEPOSIT RESERVATION SYSTEM explained more fully on our Deposit Information Page Our shortest wait for a kitten is for female kittens without a color preference. You may still reserve a kitten at this time if you call or text me to discuss at 813 857 5600. If you place a non refundable deposit on a future kitten, we cannot tell you exactly when you will get a kitten, because we cannot estimate litter size or the color or gender of the kittens in the litter.

Presently, we will accept non refundable, paid deposits for KITTENS via ZELLE TO kittens@attykats.com to our farm account (Red Sky Ranch) or through paypal ($500) at kittens@attykats.com (click the send money to friends or family button to avoid transaction fees) on future litters to reserve a spot in line for you to select a future kitten of your choice.

We believe we have the best Silver Male (ZuZu) breeding Maine Coon in the Country based upon size, type, disposition, and gorgeous offspring.
